The problems affecting the school -with a student population of around 600- is making it difficult for the children to concentrate on their studies.
The roadway to enter the school, according to the Pricipal is via the playgound, which goes under water during the rainy season. The roadway – a two-feet wide brick pathway- is not up to standard, and many a child tends to slip and fall on this road.
The Principal added that educational authorities were well aware of the problems faced by the students, but they visit the area only for the sports meet or at festival times. The situation was so bad she said, that even the morning assembly had to be often cancelled as the grounds were under water.
Since educational authorities were lackadaisical in attending to shortcomings affecting the education of students, she requested the new president of the country to use his good offices to solve the urgent problems affecting students.
