NDB – another milestone with NDB NEOS mobile banking app
View(s):NDB Bank recently marked another historical milestone with the launch of the much awaited new mobile app “NDB NEOS”.
The bank initially launched its mobile banking facility to customers in 2016 with the objective of bringing convenience and creating a trusted platform for their banking transactions via mobile. The mobile app has now undergone a radical revamp to deliver greater convenience and a unique user experience compared to other similar apps available in the market, the bank said in a media release.
According to the bank’s Director/Group CEO Dimantha Seneviratne, NDB NEOS has industry-first features in banking apps such as face ID and finger print identification for login, and management of the customers’ entire financial portfolio including NDB, NDB Wealth and NDB Stockbrokers facilities. The new app further delivers a redesigned customer journey with an upgraded user interface to enhance ease-of-use.
A media release said the NDB NEOS App encompasses some much needed features such as friction-less self on-boarding with account or credit/debit card details, online real-time other bank transfers and other bank card payments through CEFT, OTP delivery via email and SMS for both local/foreign mobile numbers, and notifications via push messages and email for transaction receipts. The new app continues to provide security features that were available in the previous app, such as switch on/off of credit/debit cards and setting up of transaction thresholds.
The NDB NEOS Mobile App is now available in both App Store and Google Play Store.
