Title holders NCC make resounding start
Defending champions, NCC got off to a resounding start in the ‘DFCC Junior’ Trophy – 14th MCA Inter-Academy, Under-15, 30–Over League Tournament 2019, which began last week.
NCC amassed to 283 for 7 in 27 overs, riding on a power packed 83 by Thenula Deelana and went on to beat SPS Rambukkana by a massive margin of 156 runs.
Newcomer to the tournament, Swinger CA made memorable debut, when they overwhelmed, Serandib by 10 wickets.
