The British Council was delighted to host an engaging and delightful evening in celebration of the season, for its members at its Library in Colombo 3 recently.
The evening started off with a performance of  ‘Sandhuni’s Christmas’ by Power of Play Pvt. Ltd. Sulochana Dissanayake and her team entranced the children with puppetry, narration and song, highlighting the themes of kindness, joy and the importance of generosity.

The second part of the celebrations centred around the carols by Library members who volunteered, accompanied by the British Council’s own musicians and joined by  all present. Santa made a surprise entrance – with tokens of thanks for the carolers.

The British Council wishes each and everyone peace, joy and goodwill.
