Niyarepola wins Junior golf title

Levon Niyarepola won the gold division with a gross 75 at the Scanwell Logistics-RCGC Junior Golf Tournament concluded on Monday the the Royal Colombo Golf Club. Levon beat T. Vikash who finished second with a gross 88 and Himal Randima who was placed third with a gross 92.
In the Silver division K Danushka with a gross of 75 finished on top, followed by Shanal Binuksha (85) and Nidushka Bandaranayake (88).
Jacob Norton was the top finisher in the bronze division with a gross 41 followed by Thejas Rathis Kanth(52) and K. Krishanthani (53).
Scanwell Logistics who has grown to become one of the leading privately held logistics companies operating in over 65 locations globally is the main sponsor of the event.
Scanwell believes ‘Youth is the hope of our future’ and said sponsoring junior golf was a great way to act on that belief. The support for the tournament is spearheaded by Scanwell Logistics Chairman Adam Ho and Managing Director Andy Anderson who are also avid golfers. Their mission is to foster the budding golfers of Sri Lanka and they hope to develop and promote the game of golf amongst youth.
