NDB wins 4 awards at the National Business Excellence Awards
View(s):National Development Bank PLC was recently felicitated with four awards at the National Business Excellence Awards 2019, hosted by the National Chamber of Commerce, Sri Lanka (NCCSL).

The bank won the Runner-Up in the Banking Sector category in addition to emerging as the Runner-Up for Excellence in Performance Management, Runner-Up for Excellence in Capacity Building and the Merit Award for Excellence in Corporate Governance, the bank said in a media release.
The 16th Edition of the National Business Excellence Awards recognises corporates who have excelled in business.
NDB’s Group Chief Executive Officer Dimantha Seneviratne accepted the awards in the presence of a large gathering of top business leaders, leading business organisations, and diplomatic missions.
“The bank’s accomplishments stand witness to NDB’s enhanced stature and prominence. NDB also emerged as the ‘Winner – Sri Lanka’ under the World’s Best Consumer Digital Banks category of the World’s Best Digital Bank Awards 2019 conducted by The Global Finance USA. NDB also won an additional number of prestigious awards including ‘Best Domestic Bank in Sri Lanka for 2019′ by Asiamoney Magazine, ‘Bank of the Year in Sri Lanka 2018’ presented by The Banker UK and ‘Best Bank in Sri Lanka 2018′ by Global Finance Magazine, US,” the release said.
