Torana releases films in DVD
View(s):Torana Video Movies has recently released three Sinhala movies including the yester-year box office hit ‘Prema Tharangaya’, ‘Kathuru Muwath’ and ‘Kiwulegedara Mohottala’, in the DVD format.
‘Prema Tharangaya’ which includes some evergreen songs, has Hugo Fernando, Ayesha Weerakoon, Laddie Ranasinghe, Aruna Shanthi and Mark Samaranayake in the main cast. Directed by A. B. Raj, the movie was produced by S. M. Nayagam. R. Muthuswamy has directed the music.
‘Kathuru Muwath’ directed by K. A. W. Perera, features D. R. Nanayakkara, Janaki Kurukulasuriya, Oswald Jayasinghe, Senadheera Rupasinghe, Rex Kodippilly, Don Sirisena, Piyadasa Wijekoon, B. S. Perera and several others in the key roles.
Premasiri Khemadasa directed music for the movie produced by P. W. Siriwardana.
‘Kivulegedara Mohottala’ based on a historical character was directed by Pathiraja L. S. Dayananda and produced by M. O. M. Mustafa. Sangeeth Nipun Sanath Nandasiri directed the music for the movie that features Wilson Karunaratne, Oswald Jayasinghe, Hyacinth Wijeratne, Rathmalee Gunasekara, Somie Rathnayake and several others.
