Fairfirst Insurance protects Sri Lankan police dogs

“The Sri Lanka Police K9 forces are a valuable source to our country possessing a unique set of skills proving to be irreplaceable. In this light, it is our responsibility to support our furry heroes in their line of work. Which is why we officiated the association between the Sri Lanka Police K9 unit and Fairfirst with the presence of Prem Watsa, Chairman and CEO of the Fairfax Group,” the company said in a media release.
The company is the official insurance partner to protecting 269 highly-trained and specialised canines who are on duty in various tasks to keeping people safe.
Fairfirst Insurance has gained a reputation for providing insurance solutions and engaging in novel social initiatives over the years.
Speaking about the partnership, Sasith Bambaradeniya Head of Marketing and Digital Solutions at Fairfirst Insurance, said: “We’ve been doing a lot of great work together with the Sri Lanka Police. Our latest and exciting initiative is with the Sri Lanka Police K9 Unit. For us business is always a force to do good and this agreement is our way of appreciating the Police and the K9 Unit’s service to the community and country.”
