Consolation win for Sri Lanka Youth cricketers
View(s):After being thrashed earlier in all their group games of the Under-19 World Cup series, the Sri Lanka Youth team recorded a consolation 9-wicket win over Japan Under-19 in the 21st match of the ICC Under-19 World Cup played at Potchefstroom yesterday.
Sri Lanka bowlers showed a commendable performance to bundle out the Japanese Under-19 for 43 runs within 18.3 overs in the match which was curtailed as 22 overs innings per a side. But Sri Lanka lost a wicket on course to victory.
