Short film Competition is on
Applications are now being called for two competitions for short films; National and International for the Second Colombo International Women’s Film Festival scheduled to be held from March 15-22. The film festival will include film screenings, discussions, forums and master classes, dates which are yet to be announced.
The competitions are open only for female filmmakers and the short films produced after January 2018 could be submitted for the competition. The maximum duration of each film should be 30 minutes and the deadline for the applications is February 20. All female international jury will announce the winners at the closing ceremony of the Colombo International Women’s Film Festival. Those interested filmmakers could obtain applications by writing to colomboiwff@gmail.com.
