Empowerment and entertainment; that’s Ladies VIP Night
View(s):Ladies VIP Night celebrates International Women’s Day with the Shangri-La Hotel presenting an evening of empowerment and entertainment on Tuesday, March 3 at the Shangri-La Hotel.
The evening will see a panel discussion featuring all male decision-makers -Ajay Amalean – Founder Member of MAS Holdings, Timothy Wright – Vice President & General Manager, Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo, Mano Sekaram – CEO 99X Technology, Nikhil Advani – CEO AIA Insurance and Janek Jayasekara – COO – Akbar Brothers Group
There will also be a fashion show featuring top local designers and jewellers and a 5-course dinner prepared by the hotel’s renowned chefs headed by Executive Chef Patrick Buttgereit.

The unusual theatrical fashion show will see leading designers Sonali Dharmawardena, Aslam Hussein, l’Atelier Touche, Ramona Oshini, Charini and Limak present their collections on the ramp in collaboration with jewellers; Colombo Jewellery Stores, Bullion Exchange, Tiesh, Pearl Studio, Summer 67 and Precious Ceylon Gems & Jewellery.
