Anuradhapura Central records easy win
Anuradhapura Central recorded an easy outright win in the Under-19 Division II Inter-Schools Cricket Tournament encounter which ended yesterday.
Anuradhapura Central outclassed St. Peter’s Negombo by an innings and 39 runs at Anuradhapura. St. John’s College, Panadura walked out with a first innings win against St. Sebastian’s College at Katuneriya.
At Padukka Siri Piyaratana scored 259 runs against P. de S. Kularatne MV, Ambalangoda with Madushan Peiris making 51. At close of play on the first day the Ambalangoda side were 64 for 3, with Hirusha Dewmika anchoring the side with an unbeaten 23.
