Tharin Matugama takes oaths as lawyer
View(s):Tharin Senal Matugama took oaths as an Attorney-at-Law on February 12, 2020 before the Chief Justice Jayantha Jayasuriya,PC and Justices of the Supreme Court Priyantha Jayawardena, PC and M.N.B Fernando, PC.
He is an old boy of Ananda College, Colombo. He passed his preliminary and final exams at Sri Lanka Law College with 2nd class honours and held office in the Law Students’ Sinhala Union, Law Students’ Buddhist Brotherhood and Law Students’ Environmental Society.
He is the second son of Ravi and Ramani Matugama, Attorneys-at-Law and a grandson of late S. Matugama, Proctor of the Kalutara Bar. His elder brother Yuwin, is also an Attorney-at-Law.
He devilled in the chambers of Upali Gooneratne, PC and Anuja Premaratna, PC acquiring experience in the field of criminal law.
