‘Rajakapura’ reaches 2500
View(s):The special 2500 show of multi-awarded comedy play “Rajakapuru” directed by Janak Premala will go on the boards at 3.30pm and 6.45pm at Borella Namel Malini Punchi Theater on March 8.
The play which won three awards at the State Drama Festival 1988 stars Ravindra Yasas, Ajith Lokuge, Sarath Chandrasiri, Sarath Kulanga, Ravindra Kodagoda, Kulasiri Mallikarachchi and Sadda Uthpala Kandage.
Written by Sirisena Premalal while music composition is by Sarath Kulanga and stage management Upali Weerasinghe and Keerthi Ranasinghe and make up by Jagath Pathmasiri.
The play introduced the hit song “Suwanda Saban Angagala”, and it is selected by the Education Ministry for the GCE Ordinary Level music syllabus.
This special 2500th show is Organised by Jude Srimal and all tickets are box planned and tickets now available at the theater.
