“Sihina Horu Aran” back with a talented cast
View(s):The new production of Rajitha Dissanayake’s play “Sihina Horu Aran” (Dreams Robbed) will be staged at 3.30pm and 6.45pm on Saturday March 7 at Namel Malini Punchi Theatre, Borella.
The play featuring an all new cast has returned after four years and the talented cast include Ishara Wickramasinghe, Nadeeshani Peliarachchci, Nalin Lusena, Sudarshana Krishantha, Kasuni Ganewatta, Kasun chathuranga, Chaminda Batakotuwa and Ashan Perera.
Originally staged in 2004 “Sihina Horu Aran” won the Best Original Play, the Best Script and the Best Actress at the State Drama Award 2005 and the play toured in Europe and India.
Music direction by Kapila Poogalaarachchi, lighting by Ranga Samarakoon and costume designer of the play is Samadara Mabuluge. Makeup by Priyantha Dissanayake and stage management by Vijith Nuwan and Lennin Liyanage and the show is organised by Jude Srimal.
All seats are box planned and tickets are now available at the theatre gate.
