The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) is proud to announce the launch of its first Foundation Studies program at UTS Insearch Colombo on the 16th of March, 2020.
UTS Insearch is a fully owned entity of the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) is Australia’s No. 1 Young university. It is ranked 140th in the world overall and 69th in the world for graduate employability outcomes.
Graduates of the Foundation Studies program will receive a nationally recognised Australian University Foundation Studies program with Australian certification.
Successful completion of the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) Foundation Studies program allows a student to continue into the Diploma taught in Sri Lanka, transfer directly to UTS or another Australian university.
Australian Education Experience in Sri Lanka
Principal, Alison Hiscox, advises that, ‘students joining our UTS Foundation Studies program in Colombo can be confident that their experience is comparable to that enjoyed by students in Sydney and achieves the same learning outcomes so that students are set up for success at university and beyond’.
The course is offered in face-to-face mode and is supported by the most up to date technology. Our lecturers are very well qualified and experienced with strong skills in placing our students at the centre of the learning experience.

The extensive range of subjects fully prepare students for university level studies and include skill-building areas such as mathematics, society and culture and academic skills. UTS Insearch Sri Lanka offers students an amazing campus experience, a very central and prestigious location at 38, Thurstan Road, Colombo 03 and provides students with opportunities to commence studies here and continue in Australia.
Students may also commence and continue locally as the Foundation and Diploma awards are Australian qualifications that are highly recognised by other institutions.
