Upekha House champs at Mahanama Sports Meet

Upekha House emerged champions at the annual Sports Meet of Mahanama College, Colombo, which was held at the school ground amidst a good participation. The winners outsmarted the athletes representing Houses Mettha, Karuna and Muditha to become the best unit.
The sports meet was held under the patronage of the school’s principal L.M.D. Dharmasena, with the blessings of P.S. Lal Nonis, the Director of Education of the Western Province. An alumni of Mahanama, Lt. Col. B.Y. Chanaka Fernando graced the event as the chief guest, while Dhammika Kulatunga, the Deputy Director, Sports and Physical Education of Western Province and Kusalani Wickramasinghe Assistant Director, Sports and Physical Education for Colombo Zone were present as special guests.
