Sri Lanka’s Rafi joins Forbes Business Council

The Forbes Business Council is an invitation only group of successful business leaders and personalities from around the world. Forbes Selection Committee appointed Talal Rafi for his expertise, contribution and leadership in the field of entrepreneurship, Mr. Rafi has said in a note to the media.
Mr. Rafi is a Sri Lankan entrepreneur and consultant who works across multiple fields in developing entrepreneurship. He is the co-founder of the co-working spaces turned business advisory company Hubpoint. He has also co-founded other ventures such as Venture Green and T3Follow.
Mr. Rafi is actively involved in the development of entrepreneurship. He is working as an Entrepreneurship Specialist at the USAID Project YouLead. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Global Entrepreneurship Network for Sri Lanka, which is an initiative of the Kauffman Foundation. As an industry expert at the Moratuwa University Entrepreneurship Centre, which is part of the World Bank AHEAD Project, he supports the development of entrepreneurship ecosystems. In 2019, he was appointed as Sri Lanka’s representative to the World Business Angel Investment Forum and he is also a member of the National Agenda Committee for Entrepreneurship Ecosystem at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.’
