Your ballot will go into these cardboard boxes

Election Commission staff preparing the ballot boxes at D.S. Senanayake College in Colombo yesterday. These cardboard ballot boxes will be distributed to areas around the city, while the boxes for the suburbs will be sent in a folded form and assembled in the polling booths. This is the first time that thick cardboard ballot boxes are being used, replacing the familiar wooden ones.
