The Under-23 Youth Inter-Club Cricket Tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Cricket will usher the 2020/21 cricket season from September 16. This will be first-ever major tournament to be held following the coronavirus pandemic which will be contested by 26 clubs that have qualified to play from clubs playing in the Major Tier ‘A’ and ‘B’ cricket tournaments.
The 26 teams have been divided into four groups and all the teams in the groups will play each other on a round robin bases and the four top teams to emerge in each group will qualify to play in the semi-finals due to be played on October 7 and the final is slotted to be played on October 11. The defending champions are Colts CC who defeated Chilaw Marians CC in the final played last year.

Group ‘A’: Army SC, Navy SC, BRC, Badureliya CC, Police SC, Nugegoda S&WC, Sebastianites CC
Group ‘B’: Chilaw MCC, Air Force SC, Ragama CC, Lankan CC, Negombo CC, Panadura SC
