‘Beyond the Song’: Get your tickets soon!
View(s):With just one week to go for the highly anticipated live concert by Sound Scope ‘Beyond the Song- Timeless Melodies Reimagined’, there is a rush for the limited tickets available for the show at Bishop’s College Auditorium on September 27 at 7.30 p.m. The concert is being held with all safety measures carefully planned.
It comes as a much needed reprieve for Colombo audiences still feeling the COVID-19 blues. “Already seven months have passed by with COVID this year and we are all of a positive mindset to put on a concert when we can for who we can without waiting for a better day,” Music Director Nishantha Warnakulasuriya tells the Sunday Times, stressing their aim to give the audience a great show.
The concert will feature instrumental performances by Nishantha, Tilanka Jayamanne, Lydia Goonetilleke, Christo Prins and Shobi Perera with vocal performances by CC of Salvage and Melissa Pereira.
