Veteran cricket commentator and coach Jayantha Weerasinghe has passed away. Weerasinghe has served two schools St. John’s, Panadura as the Master-in-Charge of cricket and St. Aloysius College, Galle as cricket coach. His remains currently lie at Jayaratne funeral parlour Borella. The funeral will be held today at 3p.m. at the Borella General Cemetery.
