With the focus of offering excellent academic paths to students, Rosedale Academy in Ontario & Asian Institute of Business & Science (AIBS) have introduced the Global University Pathway program (GUPP) in Sri Lanka.
Rosedale Academy is an independent high school in Toronto, Canada (BSID# 668726),inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education and authorised to grant OSSD course credits and issue the Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
The Global University Pathway Program (GUPP) comprises of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (1-year university pathway) which can be completed in 10 months of full-time study at AIBS.
The Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) in Science at AIBS, is a pre-university course that aims to equip students with the fundamental knowledge and skills to pursue a science-related undergraduate degree program in Australia, UK, Canada, USA or New Zealand. Thus, it focuses on subjects such as Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Mathematics. These subjects, sometimes including English, make up the core or compulsory subjects in the course. However, students will be able to take electives that suit their interest.
Compared to A-levels, the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) is shorter as it only takes 10 months. The OSSD curriculum is more focused and specialized. Grades are assessed through a combination of coursework and exams.
Students who successfully complete this pre-university pathway program in Science at AIBS will get to choose their destination degreein the areas of: Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, Nutrition & Food science, Sports Science & many other areas related to the ever-evolving world of Science.
Student will also be provided with the opportunity to apply to the 1st year of an undergraduate program in Science at one of the leading Science schools in Australia, UK, Canada, New Zealand or USA including:

Students after O/L or those who have not obtained the expected results in their Advanced level exams are also eligible to apply for this programme without having to face the hassle of repeating A/L.
