Metta and Dayan on Charana TV
View(s):Well known photographers Padamakumar Mettasena and Dayan Witharana will be the main feature on ‘Kavi Dahayata Gee Dahayak’ programme on Charana TV on Sunday October 11 at 9.00pm.
Photographer/Journalist/author/song writer Padmakumar P. Mettasena appearing as the guest artiste of the week on Charana TV, which telecast on SLT Peo Television channel number five.
‘Kavi Dahayata Gee Dahayak’ programme highlights the popular poems, published on books and is selecting ten songs sung by veteran photographer and singer Dayan Witharana to match the poems. The young generation singer Nilu Kariyapperuma too will join Metta on selecting and singing the matching songs. This programme will be presented by popular presenter Wajira Jayawardane. The musical backing for ‘Kavi 10 Gee 10’ will be provided by ‘Kuravi band’ and the programme is produced by Thushantha Vidanage and Sandu Attanayake.
