Grand Kandyan discovers hidden talent
View(s):The Grand Kandyan Hotel took the initiative to bring out the hidden talents of its employees during the pandemic. As a mental and physical stimulator, management decided to encourage all their employees to engage in their personal skills and hobbies during the lockdown.
Even though it was proposed as a fun activity, due to the high success rate, the management decided to exhibit these products, as the outcome came in many forms of creativity, and skills. Paintings, making Bonsai plants, pickles and chutneys, crafts to name a few.
An exhibition of these items took place at the hotel. As a result, of this discovery, many staff have started pursuing this as an active hobby, looking into the possibility of doing it on a larger scale.
In order to encourage and support these efforts, the management team of the hotel is in the process of organizing a special product launch exhibition in the very near future, in a form of a carnival ‘on sight’ event inclusive of food stalls, providing its skilled staff the opportunity to display and sell their products.
