UOW Tottenham Hotspur Global Football Programme

The University of Wollongong – Tottenham Hotspur Global Football Programme is a unique opportunity for students to study at the university, while also developing their football skills with training provided by coaches from English Premier League (EPL) club Tottenham Hotspur.

University of Wollongong (UOW) – Crusaders Global Rugby Programme

The UOW Crusaders Global Rugby Programme will foster the next generation of Rugby Union talent, helping participants achieve excellence on the field and in the classroom. It is an opportunity to receive professional standard coaching from the most successful Club in Super Rugby (https://crusaders.co.nz/), while studying at a globally rated 5-star university. In addition to academic fees, the cost of the programme is AUD $15,000 per year. As part of the programme, students will undertake up to 20 hours of training each week for 36 weeks while they study, with training scheduled around their academic timetable. Students will also have opportunities for selection to compete at a local, national and international level.

Scholarships

University of Wollongong is proud to award a range of scholarships of up to 30% to international students at an undergraduate and postgraduate level. Scholarships reward encourages students who have demonstrated excellence in areas of academia, and students are assessed automatically with their course application.

Sri Lanka Bursary

Srilankan students will receive tuition fee reduction of 10% for undergraduate and 20% postgraduate for the minimum duration of an eligible course. No application is required as students will automatically receive this bursary when they receive an eligible course offer. The number of bursaries available for Srilankan students is unlimited.  Students holding Sri Lankan citizenship at the time of application will automatically receive the Sri Lanka Bursary when they choose to study one of the following undergraduate or postgraduate courses commencing in 2021 and beyond:

n Undergraduate 10%: Arts, Communication and Media, Creative Arts, Engineering (Hons), IT, Public Health, International Studies and Science.

n Postgraduate 20%: Computer Science, Education, Education Extension, Engineering, IT, Public Health, Public Health Extension, and Maritime Policy.

n Students can only receive one (1) UOW scholarship, sponsorship or bursary for the same course.

Accommodation

With options to live on-campus, near the beach or in the city, there’s a University of Wollongong student residence to meet everyone’s needs and wishes. In 2021, all new students are guaranteed a fully-furnished room in the university’s supportive and secure student accommodation.
