The Sri Lanka Navy this week celebrated its 70th anniversary. As part of the anniversary celebrations, a wide range of events were held in every naval command, giving prominence to time-honoured naval traditions and religious events.  Navy Commander Nishantha Ulugetenne took part in the events to mark the celebrations.
