Kotelawela Defence Academy to be upgraded
View(s):A cabinet approval was granted to expand the academic activities of the Kotalewela Defence Academy to a National Defence University. The move was done under the direction of President GotabayaRajapaksa, and it is believed that this upgrade will enhance the institution’s role in national defence within the country. A draft bill to this effect has been prepared and it will be tabled as a gazette notification in Parliament soon.
