Rotaract to drive ‘ Covid Control Certification’ with SLSI

Rotary- The Organization that has a seat in the UN for driving humanitarian efforts is taking a fore front globally on supporting the governments on Covid control.
As we speak now there is a global thrust where Rotary is supporting on the physical distribution, skill training and driving governments for speeding up the vaccination Programme said the Chairman of the Youth arm of Rotary Dr Rohantha Athukorala.
In Sri Lanka, Under the brand ‘ Stop the Spread’ the attitudal change Campaign has reached 1.5 million households with the strategic partnership with National Olympic Committee( NOC).
The latest development on this initiative was the launch of the ‘ Covid-19 control environment” certification with Sri Lanka Standards Institute( SLSI) to all SME’s that will be driven by Rotaract said the District Rotaract Representative for Sri Lanka & Maldives Kasun Segera. We have almost three hundred companies that have already got the cover from the deadly virus that has costed 227 fatalities and over 47,000 Covid patients.
A unique 3 minute walk through video clip has been developed so that any company big or small can do a self evaluation if the company is ready to move to the ‘ SLSI Certification programme’ said Rotaractor Segera who has already done 72 key economic development projects totaling almost five hundred million in value from a social and economic perspective voiced Dr Athukorala.
