The Dream of every student is to enter a State University in Sri Lanka after completing the Advanced Level Exam but according to the current situation in the Education System, most of the students are unable to fulfill the eligibility and fails to find the correct path for Higher Education.

Riga Technical University (RTU) has been ranked in the 701 to 750 range of QS World University Rankings 2021, which is the highest score among three Latvian universities included in the ranking. RTU received the highest appraisal for its increase of foreign students, and in this indicator RTU improved its position by 66 places, ranking 371st in the global assessment.
Students are entitled for Schengen Visa which allows students to travel within the Schengen countries and the students travel around Europe during vacation. Students can earn while studying and there is a career center in the university where students easily find part time jobs in the country.
It may be possible for the students to find an internship within a company relevant to their field of study and being an intern gives the students some much-needed experience and it opens numerous opportunities. Depending on the field of study, it may even be possible for the students to be hired by the company once they complete their studies.
Riga Technical University
RTU is an internationally recognised university which is implemented by 9 faculties including 33 institutes and the history dates back more than 155 years. In the faculties of RTU it is possible to obtain high quality education not only in engineering, but also in social sciences and humanities.
It is the only polytechnic university in Latvia and the largest university in the country – it educates and trains almost fifteen thousand students. RTU has sustained its role in the education system of Latvia and the present day, RTU is an accredited, internationally recognised European university that implements academic and professional study programmes of advanced quality. RTU has been highly evaluated by the international experts within the Institutional Evaluation Programme carried out by the European University Association (EUA), who recognised in their report that strategically RTU is moving in the right direction on the way to becoming a modern university of the third generation.
RTU is constantly developing its infrastructure by constructing a campus on Kipsala Island. On completion, the campus will be the most advanced engineering study centre in Europe.

Sri Lankan students can now gain the opportunity to study the first semester in Sri Lanka and then migrate to Europe for the 2nd semester. Well experienced and well qualified lecture panel conducts the course with the supervision of the university officials. The exams are conducted by the visiting university officials and the standard is the same as in the university.

If students wish, they can directly migrate to the country for studies from the 1st semester. FREE English language classes are offered to the registered students to assure high score in English Language Proficiency. Students can apply for ERASMUS scholarships which aim to enhance quality in higher education letting students study in another Schengen country that linked with ERASMUS programme in the university.
