The first stage of the vaccination programme to counter COVID-19 was launched on Friday at several key hospitals in the Western Province, with vaccinations in other provinces commencing yesterday. Frontline health workers and triforces personnel will be administered the Oxford AstraZeneca COVIDSHIELD vaccine first.
