Ashanika Nidumi Wijerathne is one of the outstanding past pupil of St’ Bridget’s Convent Colombo 7.She was the President of Sinhala Debating team in 2015 and possessed great speech and academic skills at her Alma mater. Soon after her A/L’s she joined CIPM ( Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka )and became partly qualified in Human Resource Management. She further enrol to continue her higher studies to CFPS Law School in Sri Lanka registered Centre of prestigious University of London to follow her LLB. she became in 2019 a First Class LLB holder from CFPS at University of London out of 8 world first classes in the whole world and throughout her three academic years she was able to obtain distinctions for Public law,European Union law, Administrative law Jurisprudence and the highest mark from the world and Certificate of Excellence for Criminology in 2019.
She parallely worked for Current Ambassador for Norway Mr.Godfrey Cooray and Associates as a legal intern for almost more than one year .And completing her LLB she joined Srilankan Law College and she is in the process of pursuing her Attorney- at – Law qualification to practice in Srilanka.
Nidumi was given the opportunity to work as a Criminology Lecturer to share her knowledge with The World Institute for Peace in Nigeria which has partnered with several instituions in USA,CANADA.
World Institute for Peace in Nigeria Honourable Jury confirms Nidumi as an awardee of Laureate of Peace and Unity and she is cordially invited to attend the World Peace Conference in Nigeria 2021 which is to be held on 14th March 2021 at the Oduduwa University,Nigeria.
This is once in a lifetime great opportunity as a Srilankan given for Miss. Nidumi Wijerathne to appreciate her work in spreading peace and unity among the world and serve for justice globally during such a pandemic period.
