Viva-La-Vida-A night of Visakhian virtuosity: All set for finale
View(s):With the preliminary rounds of Viva-La-Vida – A Night of Visakhian Virtuosity, the online talent show organized by the Social Activities Sub Committee 2020/21 of Visakha Vidyalaya Old Girls’ Association concluded successfully, the stage is set for the grand finale of the contest on February 13.
A large number of past Visakhians competed in this virtual platform under the following categories; Singing, Instrumental Play, Dancing, Acting/Miming/Stand-up Comedy and Arts/Digital Arts/Sculpture
A panel of judges of reputed Sri Lankan stars judged each category and the excitement is mounting as the finale approaches.
Judging acting: Jayantha Chandrasiri (Veteran film director), Avanthi Welaratne Pursell (Award-winning actress) (Chairing) joined through ZOOM, and Saumya Liyanage (Veteran actor)
Judging -instrumentals: Dr Avanti Perera (Principal Violist - Symphony Orchestra) (Chairing), Anthony Surendra (Veteran musician) and Ravibandhu Vidyapathi (Veteran musician)
