Excelsia College’s comprehensive 2-year MBA course helps students to better grasp the industry they are considering to work for in the future. Excelsia College’s MBA focuses on ‘Leadership and Social Responsibility’. The programme is designed to develop leadership skills as well as knowledge of ethical and socially responsible practices within organisations. It can help students become a business leader that seeks to make a difference in the world by doing the right thing.
With a focus on responsible organisational leadership and an emphasis on the formulation and implementation of strategy, Excelsia College’s MBA is designed for young managers and business leaders who are still developing their knowledge and mastery of business processes. The course units for 2 years of MBA at Excelsia College are:
Year 1: Leadership Theory, Organisational Behaviour and Leadership, Stewardship and Governance, Organisational Learning and Change, Accounting for Managers, Applied Management Theory, Marketing Management and Business Economics
Year 2: Operations Management, Business Information Management, Professional Ethics, Global Management, Business Strategy and Policy, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability, and Applied Management Capstone

Educational prerequisites
- A bachelor degree (AQF Level 7) in any field of study from an Australian higher education institution; OR
- A qualification recognised as equivalent by the National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (NOOSR); OR
- Other qualifications and experience as may, on application by the student, be deemed equivalent to (a) by the Academic Board of the College.
In addition to meeting the prerequisites above, international applicants who have not completed an educational qualification in English must provide proof of proficiency in English through internationally recognised tests such as IELTS or TOEFL, or through satisfactory completion of an approved course at one of the College’s partner language colleges. Applicants should have completed either:
IELTS – 6.5 with no band less than 6.0; OR
TOEFL iBT (internet-based) – 79 ; OR
PTE Academic – 59 with no score less than 51
