Renown sees Red Stars

View(s): After taking a 1-all break at halftime, Red Star FC scored the solitary goal in the second half to overcome Renown SC 2-1 in a pre-season match of the FFSL Super League played at the Sugathadasa Stadium yesterday.
Mohamed Farhan struck first for Red Star in the 40th minute but Aman Faizer equalized shortly before the halftime to end the first half at 1-1. With a close battle in the second half, Red Star took the upper hand, striking through Mohamed Usman in the 53rd minute, as the game ended 2-1 in favour of them.
