Buy a HelpAge greeting card and help senior citizens to get their vision back

HelpAge greeting cards are not to be forgotten when you celebrate religious and cultural festivals or birthdays.
Buying a HelpAge greeting card directly benefits Sri Lanka’s less-privileged elderly citizens. The proceeds are utilised for senior citizens’ cataract surgeries at the HelpAge state-of-the-art hospital at Sinsapa Road in Wellawatta. The hospital has so far performed more than 38,000 free cataract surgeries of elders.
This year HelpAge has printed about 100,000 National New Year and birthday cards.
HelpAge Fundraising Manager Ruchilalani Batuwantudawa urged the people to extend their support for the project by buying these cards. HelpAge Executive Director Samantha Liyanawaduge said the proceeds are also utilised to conduct eye care and medical camps and provide free disability equipment to needy elders. The cards are sold at reasonable prices at leading supermarkets and bookshops in the Western Province.
