Rotary supports the country’s vaccination drive

When the pandemic struck Sri Lanka Way back in April,2020 Rotary launched a structured ‘ Awareness campaign’ on the new normal behaviour targeting the school going children with 7 top athletes recommended by National Olympic Committee( NOC) taking the role of a brand ambassador aimed as making the new normal behavior a way of life.
The youth arum of Rotary, the Interactors championed the project and it has reached almost 23% of the households with an extended Programme with almost 280 South Asian and Commonwealth Medallion being spokesman said the Project Director For Rotary Stop the Spread Dr Rohantha Athukorala.
The learning globally is that ‘ behavior modulation’ is key to stopping the sorest said Dr Athukorala and this behaviour must be continued even after the vaccination Programme.
