An Investment in Knowledge Pays the Best Interest – “Study Abroad” to open your horizon to a brighter future. Invitation to Two events planned for 11th and 12th April
View(s):All students anywhere in the world especially hopes for a good education to achieve a satisfying and a rewarding career and lead a happy and a contended life.
However, many of them especially in poor and developing countries are denied of this, owing to many reasons, most beyond their control. This is the main reason many embark on a journey of education to a foreign land to receive an education of their choice at a reputed foreign university of their choice to ensure a stable and successful future. Edlocate in Sri Lanka and The Maldives has been helping students in both countries to achieve this. We have proven over two decades that studying abroad, though will cost fair amount of money, the investments by parents were worth considering thousands of Edlocate Alumni doing well in life.
The current COVID pandemic made proceeding overseas immediately to study in university campuses not possible. However, a fair number of students and parents did not allow this current plight to affect them. Instead of putting their plans on hold, they commenced their tertiary studies on-line during the last two intakes. They have done exceptionally well progressing in their academic path as well as earning an advantage over their peers who put their studies on hold.
Edlocate counsellors are excellent in guiding students to make correct decisions to enrol in good universities they represent in 8 countries. However, they normally, arrange university representatives and academics to visit us at least twice a year to give an opportunity for students and parents to meet them face to face and get first-hand information, to make critical decisions to Study Abroad. The current pandemic has put a hold on this much anticipated events of our annual calendar.
With the advancement of technology, we are now able to take a step further and arrange two events to enable students and parents to “Meet the University Representatives and Academics directly” on a one-on-one basis – through virtual sessions as given below.
On Saturday 10th April – from 10am to 1pm – meet with selected 9 Australian and New Zealand universities
On Saturday 10th April – from 10am to 1pm – meet with a further 10 Australian Universities and New Zealand ITPs
The universities in attendance at these two events are listed in the advertisement that appears in this paper. You will be able to log in to a system that resembles an actual function hall and visit the universities you wish to speak to. You are able to ask as many questions as possible from university representatives and academics to get clarifications on – what the university course you intend doing offers, how is studying with the university as an international student in that city, are there any scholarships and how eligible you are for such merit-based scholarships, what openings are there for you to get industry exposure during the course, How well is the university placed to assist you to get related work experience through placements during post study period, the acceptance of the intended course within the country and also internationally etc. You can connect with the University representatives either via text chat or a video call. You can even view or download the university prospectors. You can also lodge application and receive on the spot application fee waiver.
Edlocate counsellors will handle all processes from obtaining placements to student visa issuance with correct guidance at each step for you to study abroad within your financial capabilities. This has been the strength of Edlocate for well over two decades. We have helped thousands of students over these years without charging any fee for our professional services.
Even if you may have to start and do for a few months of studies on-line, you need not worry about the delivery of the courses as almost all foreign universities have mastered the art of such delivery to the highest standards. Students will study the same syllabus, learn from the same lecturers, do the assignments and tutorials and meet the same class mates. Unlimited access will be available to same library and other teaching material as you were on-campus. There are already plans by many developed countries to bring in international students to commence on-campus studies during the year 2021.
