UNA life membership for Shukra
The United Nations Association of Sri Lanka held its International Women’s Day ceremony at Hotel Kingro in Panadura recently under the patronage of Shyama Wijekulasooriya and Panchali Rathnayake. At the ceremony, UNA Secretary General Errol G Smith presented the association’s free life membership to Shukra Munawwar, the Sirasa Laxapathiya winner. She took part as a special guest. UNA Executive Chairman Dr M M M Rushanudeen, Deputy Executive Chairmen M M Zawahir, Dr Rohan Dayaratne and Sampath Priyankara, Assistant Secretary General Dr Kamal Abeywardana, Editor Dharmadasa Vitharana and other members of the association attended the event.
