Comedy of politics on theatre
Ravindra Ariyarathne’s ‘Balloth Ekka Baa – 2’ at Elphinstone Theatre
Stage drama director Ravindra Ariyarathne’s popular political comedy ‘Balloth Ekka Baa – 2’ will be staged at 3.30 p.m. and 6.45 p.m. at Elphinstone Theatre, Colombo 10 on April 24.
The cast includes Gihan Fernando, Kumara Thirimadura, Chamila Pieris, Sarath Karunarathne, Chinthaka Pieris and Ravindra Ariyarathne while Anthoney Surendra has directed the music direction and Llewellyn Vanderwall background creation. Stage management is by Sumedha Prasanna, costume designs are by Gihan Fernando and makeup by Wasantha Vittachchi.
Produced and play organised by Jude Srimal, Balloth ekka baa 2 will be presented in compliance with the government’s COVID – 19 regulations and safety measures.
All seats are box planned and tickets are now available at Sarasavi Book Shop – Nugegoda, Sadeepa Book Shop – Borella and at the theatre gate.
