Rajarata University Agriculture Faculty research symposium on April 28 and 29
View(s):The 13th Annual Research Symposium of the Rajarata University’s Faculty of Agriculture is scheduled to be held on April 28 and 29 .
This year the symposium will be held as a virtual conference and the theme will be “Challenging the pandemic with agricultural innovation.”
Innovation is the key to improve the productivity, sustainability and resilience in agriculture and food sector, one of the organisers of the event said.
They said the symposium creates an official platform for final year students to present the findings of their research to an audience comprising scientists, agriculture industry stakeholders, academics and their fellow colleagues.
It also aims to motivate young researchers and enhance their research skills, develop interactions and establish working relationships with industry personnel and recognise the best performing students in each specialisation area. The research findings will be published as symposium proceedings, the organiser said.
