Royal College Colombo receives its first Math Lab

The Royal College Old Boys group of 2001 constructed and donated a fully equipped Mathematics Laboratory (Math Lab) to Royal College at Colombo 07 last Monday.
This is the first Math Lab for the school and it was donated on a special request made by the Royal College Mathematics Society as a longstanding requirement of the school’s students.
The inauguration ceremony held recently was headed by the Royal College Principal B. A. Abeyratne, Snr Deputy Principal M. V. S. Gunathilake, Royal College Union Treasurer Sohan Yapa, the school’s Development Society Secretary Asanga Peiris and Group of 2001 President Yoshan Perera.
The Education Ministry’s Education Director (Mathematics) Priyantha Nanayakkara was the Chief Guest and the Math Lab Concept’s Founder and Developer Dharmasiri Hengodage was also present.
