Girl Guides visit CDC at Strathspey Estate in Upcot to distribute gifts
View(s):The Girl Guides Association of Sri Lanka recently distributed gifts to the children attending the Child Development Centre of Strathspey Estate in Upcot.
A total of 160 packs each valued at Rs. 1,500 were distributed amounting to Rs. 240,000 in a community service project organised by the Girl Guides International in coordination with Chrysalis, on April 7, 2021.
The programme was conducted with the assistance of the management of the Strathspey Estate in Upcot.
This is another Corporate Social Responsibility programme undertaken at the Strathspey Estate, which is managed by Maskeliya Plantations Plc., under the purview of the Arpico Group of Companies.
The aim here is to enable the children attending the CDC in social wellbeing and to help the underprivileged children in the estate.
