EWC creative writing competition: More time to send your entries
View(s):The English Writers Collective of Sri Lanka (EWC) has extended the deadline for entries for its annual Creative Writing Competition of literary articles, reviews, short stories of up to 2500 words, and poems not exceeding 32 lines. The closing date is now May 15.
More than one entry could be submitted. Entries should not have been previously published in any newspaper, journal or book.
The best three in each genre will be awarded prizes. These in addition to other entries judged favourably will be published in the EWC journal Channels.
Prose entries should be emailed to mtlebell@gmail.com and register posted to Vijita Fernando, 16, Welikadawatte Road, Rajagiriya.
Poems should be emailed to shaza1@gmail.com and register posted to Nelani Goonewardena, 197/23, Pattiyawatte Road, Kothalawela, Kaduwela.
