Rotary Stop the Spread Ambassordor say ‘ Wear a Mask’
View(s):Given the escalating infection in Sri Lanka of the Covid-19 virus and death rate crossing 750 odd, the only fighter brand Rotary’s STOP THE SPREAD project saw its flagship brand Ambassordor Dimuth KARUNARATNE – shine out last week with the brilliant performance on the sports field and then making a comment ‘ Wear your Mask and let’s stop the spread’. We have to do this for Sri Lanka.
Karunaratne, fresh from his maiden double-century last weekend went on to highlight ‘the walk the talk mentality advocating ‘ We must get discipline and do this for the country. We must not allow the 3rd wave destroy the sporting culture that the world has been deprived for the last year he said. The Project Chairman of Rotary Stop the Spread Dr Rohantha Athukorala of Rotary voiced “ People now listen only to Sportsman to change their behaviour as policy makers has lost their credibility not only in Sri Lanka but also around the world he said.
