Iran enters cinema with a Secret of a Rose

Young filmmaker Iran Godamunne’s debut film‘Rosa Rahasa’ or ‘Secret of the Rose’ is completed and ready for release. The film is co-produced by teledrama actress and producer Dhammi Godamunna and his director son Iran.
A fictional tale, the film revolves around a 35-year-old Natalie and her younger daughter Natasha who move to a new residence, a bungalow ‘Rose Villa’. The dilapidated bungalow itself is a mystery where many mysterious stories are buries under it.
Norman, played by Roshan Ravindra, is the horse caretaker who lives in the same premises and he is a part of the mystery. The film takes a dramatic turn as the mother and the daughter occupy this massive house and when Natalie is come across by Norman.
The film features Roshan Ravindra, Roshan Ranawaka, Richard Weerakkody, Vindy Madapatha, Milinda Perera, Gayana Sudarshana and Sheneli Samaradivakawa in the main roles.
Screenplay written by Chandraratne Mapitigama along with Iran, director of photography is Nishantha Pradeep and make up by Ajith Kumara.
The art director is Damith Batewala and ‘Secret of the Rose’ is an Intel Movies Production.
