Named #WhatsUpCalcey, the programme promises to make it easier for experienced developers to understand what makes Calcey different as an employer and as a remote-first workplace, the company said in a media release.
“Today’s job seekers value a great company culture and it’s hard to give people a sense of that through a formal interview. That is why we decided to switch things up a little and provide prospective applicants the chance to understand what it is like to work at Calcey by booking a convenient time to talk with one of the senior managers whom they will work with. The overarching goal of this initiative is to enable potential hires to understand the Calcey Way and our permanently remote-first work structure in detail, with utmost transparency and clarity, no strings attached,” said Ishara Walpola, Calcey’s Director of People and Culture.
The statement said that in order to book a call, interested individuals need to visit www.calcey.com/WhatsUp and answer the on-screen questions following which they will be able to book a time slot for a call with Calcey’s senior management. If the individual decides that they would like to pursue a career at Calcey, the firm’s talent management team will fast-track their application through the hiring process. Individuals who contact Calcey via the #WhatsUpCalcey initiative will be guaranteed complete confidentiality in line with company policies.
