Juliana’s special graphic designing workshop
View(s):With over 10 years experience in corporate training, Digital Transformation Consultant, Juliana Jey launched her own web development and corporate training provider company called Web Alliance in 2011.
Since then her work has involved reshaping the mindsets of professionals to embrace technology based marketing and improving the overall IT related skills and knowledge of employees. Having conducted over 100 workshops, Juliana is well skilled in the graphics and web industry.
Her new venture is a free graphic designing workshop for special needs teenagers.“In everyone’s life, art and design gives inspiration and enables them to achieve new dimensions. We believe the misconception that reaching prestigious heights in this field eludes children with special needs results in them being overlooked and neglected,” Juliana says.
As an experienced trainer in graphic design, Juliana says she has noticed that special needs children exhibit remarkable talent in computer based art and design. However, they lack proper identification and devoted trainers and she feels her course could be helpful particularly during these COVID times.
“Participating in this graphic designing course may be a useful venture to spend their time at home during the pandemic period. This particular course teaches the fundamentals of graphic designing, learning digital art, photographic basics, photo editing, and designing short story books,” Juliana explains, pointing out that the teens who perform well may reach the next level of becoming a graphic designer and find jobs in the field.
All children are talented notwithstanding their physical and mental differences, she believes.
The graphic designing course will commence on September 24 and workshops will be conducted every Friday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for 13 to 18-year-olds for no fee at all. To register please call 0719405415.
