Rain hampers day three at Pallekele
View(s):Rain hampered the third day’s proceedings of the second Unofficial Test match between Sri Lanka ‘A’ and the visiting Pakistan Shaheens played at the Pallekele International Stadium.
Only 29.5 overs of play were possible as Sri Lanka ‘A’ were bundled out for 67 runs, after resuming from their overnight score of 64 for 9, only to be forced to follow on.
The home team however, showed much resistance in their second essay, and were 102-2 in 28.3 overs with Kamil Mishara remaining unbeaten on 53. The match ends today.
