‘Clifford the Big Red Dog’
‘Clifford the Big Red Dog’ adventure comedy specially dedicated for the holiday season is now being screened in theatres in Colombo and the outstation.
Based on children’s book series of the same name by Norman Bridwell , the film narrates around a young girl’s love for a tiny puppy named Clifford which grows to
an enormous size.
Directed by Walt Becker, the film stars Jack Whitehall, Darby Camp, Tony Hale, Sienna Guillory, David Alan Grier, Russell Wong, Kenan Thompson, and John Cleese.
The film had been scheduled to premiere at the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival in September 2021 and was to be followed by a theatrical release. However Paramount Pictures had to change the plans with the Covid-19 pandemic.
‘Clifford the Big Red Dog’ was released theatrically and digitally
on November 10.
Here in Sri Lanka, the film is now being screened at Liberty by Scope Cinemas, PVR Colombo 2, Scope Cinemas (CCC) – Colombo 2, Maxx Lite – Moratuwa, Vista Lite – Ja-ela, Milano 2 – Kegalle and Kandy City Center – Kandy.
